Each month, wines are hand-selected by Lauren, our in-house Certified Sommelier. She finds small producers making sustainable wines that will delight the palate.

Lauren has worked all over the world but calls Big Sky home. She’s worked in Food & Beverage for longer than she’s comfortable telling you; from hosting, serving, and bartending, to management; from Pennsylvania to New Mexico to Alaska, landing at Buck’s T4 in 2008, followed by a Sommelier position at the Yellowstone Club in 2014. She began her official learning journey in college, taking a Half-Tequila, Half-Wine class in Las Cruces, New Mexico.
Since then, Lauren has achieved certificates as a Certified Sommelier from the Court of Master Sommeliers, the Cicerone Beer certification, and the WSET Level 2, along with participating in winery internships in production and winemaking, and Domaine Serene’s 2016 SommSelect program. She is constantly learning, with plans for the Certified Specialist of Wine and WSET Sake certifications in Fall 2024. Lauren loves introducing people to new grape varieties from all over the world, or finding one you already love but from a new producer, and she cannot wait to meet you!
The CSW certification is widely recognized and regarded by the international wine industry. To receive certification, candidates must pass an exam, proving their knowledge and mastery of key elements within the worlds of viticulture and wine production.

The Wine Club is a way to connect our more curious customers with rare, delicious, off-the-beaten-path wines. The club is a monthly two-bottle subscription service with attached in-store discounts and other perks. All wines come with a story, tasting notes, maps and pairing suggestions.
Wine Club pickup is at our Town Center store on the first Thursday of the month.
We hand-curate every selection for the club. You do get to choose between two reds, a red and a white or even two whites. You can also choose between two pricing tiers: $39.95 or $69.95. You also have the option to customize your order to a split plan: one bottle from one tier and one from another. We also offer half-case plans (3 and 3). Please inquire if you are interested in a customized plan.
Active members enjoy 10% off all wine purchased in store, at any time, in any quantity. That discount is extended to 20% on the day you pick up your monthly wine, provided it is before the second Thursday of the month. Like a wine we ran? With some exceptions, re-orders of all club wines enjoy a 20% discount off of retail. We are working on coordinating exclusive club member tastings here in town, so stay tuned!
Members can look forward to being introduced to wines, grapes, regions and producers that they may never have heard of! We focus on interesting, small-production wines. Every wine is tasted and vetted beforehand.
Of course! The wines are ready for pickup on the first Thursday of the month, but you don't need to swing by immediately (though we don't know why you aren't running down here to grab your monthly wines at 9 a.m. on Thursday!). We will even hold and continue to bring in wine for you for three months unless told otherwise.
Payment is due at pickup.
We're sorry to see you go! Pausing or canceling your membership is as easy as calling the store, emailing wine@hungrymoose.com or swinging by to let us know. The club is considered opt-out, meaning that if you have not told us that you will only be signing up for specific months or for a short term, we will continue to bring in your monthly wines for three months; we ask that if you don't want this service to please let us know.
Absolutely not! Custom plans of all shapes and sizes are available. Many of our members are seasonal residents and visitors who are on custom plans. While our default is assuming a monthly pickup, you can choose to join for one month, summers only or year-round, or try for a month to see if it is for you.
