Description

The dishwasher position at The Hungry Moose Market & Deli is an important one to keep everything flowing smoothly in the deli. The main focus is to keep the deli stocked with clean dishes. This includes all prep and baking pots, pans, utensils etc, coffee cups and saucers, customer utensils. . . the dishwasher will also help maintain the cleanliness of the deli seating area including emptying the garbage, bus tubs and clearing and wiping tables inside and outside on the patio.

Expectations

·          Is familiar with all opening and closing duties in the deli

·          Checks and empties all garbage containers

·          Puts away any stock that has come in during the shift

·          Helps put away produce and organize walk-in

·          Helps with busing dishes

·          Maintains the seating area by constantly clearing and wiping tables as customers leave, clears and replaces the bus tub, sweeps the floor as needed, keeping it neat and clean.

·          Does the same for the outside seating area in summer

·          Maintains the customer condiment area including the self-serve coke machine(ice, cups etc. . . ) and coffee condiments

·          Knows how to handle customer complaints

·          Helps maintain the deli and markets' visual appearance, keeping it neat and clean

·          Handles miscellaneous maintenance duties in the deli area and store as needed
